Welcome to Element Youth, our student edition of efamilies! We are a ministry of Element Christian Church. Like everything else you will find at Element, around here, we are all about Jesus! We want to walk beside you and support you as you minister to your students and support and nurture their desire to live a life that glorifies our Savior.
Efamilies! exists to support parents to help students to KNOW Jesus through the teaching of the scriptures, to GROW in their relationship with Jesus through the application of the scriptures, and to SHOW Jesus to the people and communities around them through the sharing and modeling of the Gospel.
Element Youth is passionate about walking beside families as students discover what it looks like to live for Jesus in their world of Junior High and High School. Students at this age have very distinct questions and needs and we try to help students appreciate how Jesus is relevant to our lives at any stage. We seek to equip parents to understand and communicate with their students by facilitating conversations and spaces, as well as offering resources and support.
Middle School Ministry
Our Middle School meets the first three weeks of every month at the 9:30 and 11:00 service Sunday mornings. On the last Sunday we encourage the students to attend service with their families as a way of facilitating family discussion and creating the habit of service attendance. Middle Schoolers receive a biblical message followed by Student Community Time modeled after our vision of seeing every believer engaging in a Gospel Community. During this Community time, students dive deep into the message, seeing how it relates to the life they are living today, and how the Gospel challenges us to change and grow. Students pray for each other, and encourage each other on their individual spiritual journeys. Sunday mornings are rounded out with time to socialize and connect students and leaders through fun and engaging games and activities. The Middle School Ministry has been designed to relate to the specific age related needs of this student group.
